๐ŸŽ€๐Ÿฆข๐Ÿ’— 33 ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿฆข๐ŸŽ€

Today Iโ€™m 33, and Iโ€™m also 31 weeks pregnant. I took these portraits a couple of days ago in front of our kitchen windows to commemorate this sweet moment.

I find myself wanting to reflect on the past few years, but not knowing how to put any of it into words.

Iโ€™m incredibly lucky to be where I am today and to have the family I have.

This last year has been filled with quite a few professional projects: a handful of photo and video commissions, a number of design projects, a few designed and assembled seasonal decor items (as seen in my shop), and then a lot of time spent growing another baby to join our family in the spring. :)

I miss the old days of photography over a decade ago, where there were so many photographers pioneering the way forward on platforms like Flickr and DeviantArt. It was a time of massive creativity, but also, so much time and attention was spent on capturing and commemorating the little details in life that make the world so magical. I find that I want to try to make my way back to that place of creation. Just a simple ode to our day to day lives. Maybe Iโ€™ll get that started this year while there is so much change and growth about to happen come this spring.

Cutest little toddler reaching up to give me the remote so she can watch โ€œMore Minnieโ€!
